IMG_5228_02 copyThe Qualcomm Stadium parking lot was packed with cars and trucks that looked like they came from the MTV show “Pimp My Ride” – with good reason; many were competing for trophies at the Extreme Autofest Car Show and the star from the TV show, Xzibit, was performing live.

There was a slight lag prior to the concert because one of the bikini contestants exposed too much and the SDPD had to intervene. ¬†Shortly after, the concert ensued with “Paparazzi” from Xzibit’s early days in 1996.

DJ Invisible followed up by playing “Computer Love” by Zapp and Roger on the turntables. Xzibit laid the rhymes over the track to show the hundreds that despite his crossover to the video game, television and film medians – that he’s still got the street cred to freestyle rap on cue.

“What’s the Difference,” was the cut in which Xzibit collaborated with Eminem and Dr. Dre. When performing this song, it appeared that the heavy bass was affecting the erratic motion of the drones flying above the crowd.

Xzibit spoke to the drone cameras and warned the crowd not to ask him to help build (or pimp) their cars.

He then crossed his arms and closed out the concert with his self-titled “X” song.
